Hello friends! I am back with another layout featuring the fabulous Zoey Kit.
Recently, I’ve been listening to a podcast for creative entrepreneurs (that’s me!) and the host said something that resonated with me, “You can either sit around and talk about what you want to do, or you can get out there, hustle, and making things happen.” These words ring so true and they remind me of all of the hard work I’ve done over the past year to get my creative business off the ground.
The hustle is very real my friends.
With that in mind, I decided to create this layout as sort of reminder of why it is so important that I continue to work hard, to take risks, and to get stuff done.
To begin, I trimmed the Floral and Swiss Dot pattern paper down to 8.5 x 11 to use as my background. The remaining pieces were used to create a layered distressed strip of pattern paper that serves as the anchor for my photo cluster. The photo is layered on 2 journaling cards from the kit and a black polka dot acetate card from the Zoey acetate shapes.
I added a label to the right of the photo cluster and stamped the word “smile” using the Zoey stamp set. Next, I added three die cut flowers from the Zoey die cut pack; one behind the label, another on the top left of the photo cluster, and a third flower to the bottom left of the layered pattern paper strip. To these flowers I added an acetate arrow, a “celebrate” label and a die cut circle with a white heart centered in the middle.
Lastly, I created the title using the Zoey puffy font letters (which I love) and added typed journaling strips to complete the layout. This kit is truly amazing!
I hope you are inspired to make something awesome today! Thanks for stopping by!

Love this layout!!
Beautiful layout, Victoria! That floral paper is my absolute favourite from this kit and the contrast with the black/white polka dot paper is just perfect!
