Welcome back to the Felicity Jane blog. Today I want to share with you a new layout using the gorgeous Jane Kit.
When I first opened my Jane Kit box the fresh green and white spot pattern paper stuck out at me as my favorite and I couldn't wait to use it on a layout. As I was going through the photos on my computer the colours in this photo from our recent visit to Californian Adventure Park when we met Buzz Lightyear looked to match the green perfectly, so i gave a touch of editing to my photo, printed it off and set to work.
I created a simple blocked design using four of the pattern papers in the kit, four papers that matched the colors in my photo.
I then layered the delicate black die cuts and some of the elements from the cut apart sheets around the central part of my layout. I added the fun gold chipboard alphabet stickers vertically on my layout for a playful effect, I love how that looks.
To complete my layout I added some stamping using the stamps from the Jane kit and the gorgeous black and white striped flair button as well as my typed journaling that I created on my computer.
I am a creature of habit and find I can't create a layout if the colors in the photos do not match the pattern papers. Thankfully there is such a range of colors in the Jane kit it can be used universally and over and over.
I am looking forward to sharing my next layout with you soon, enjoy your weekend!

What a great LO! And a good way to use up any small leftover pieces of that beautiful paper!
