Hello Felicity Jane friends! I am so happy to share my layout using the stunning Jenny kit today! It is so fun to be part of Felicity Jane's birthday month celebration!
The Jenny chipboard stars caught my eye as soon as I opened my black and white box! I thought it would be fun to make a layout full of stars! I began by cutting loads of stars from the Stripes & Hearts paper. I set up my Silhouette to cut stars from each of the solid stripes in the paper. Next, I cut a very large star from white cardstock. I laid it over my base paper and traced around the star lightly with a pencil. I then stamped sentiments all around the outside of the star using the Jenny Stamp Set. Once I was done stamping, I went over my pencil line with a black sharpie pen.
I added some spray mist to my background in coordinating colors to the Jenny kit. I paired the celebrate journal card with my photo and decided on placement. Next up I added all my stars, I used foam dot adhesive to raise some of the stars and added the rest straight to the page. I kept the stars scattered in a diagonal line, so the layout didn't get too crazy!
I love the trails of stars! To add more detail to the star clusters, I added some of the sweet sequin mix included in the Jenny kit; they add the perfect amount of sparkle!
I adore the bright, cheery colors in the Jenny kit! This layout sure feels like a celebration to me! It would be fun to add journaling around the big star or to fill the inside of the star with co-ordinating paper or journaling. Thank you so much for joining me today.
