Changes for 2017 | Banning Lane

My London kit look a bit of time to get to me this month, but man was it worth the wait! I say it every time, but this might be my favorite kit to date! I already have a list of layouts I want to create with this kit and today I am going to share one of those layout with you

Here is a look at my finished page!

This year I am working on a personal album that will document my year of change. I have created single layouts about myself, but never a whole album. It definitely feels unnatural for me, but I am excited about it. This is the first layout that will be going in that album.

I knew I wanted to highlight the year on my layout, so when I typed up my journaling on my photo I left space for that. This chipboard alphabet is definitely a favorite of mine. I love that they are white with a black outline.

The London kit also comes with some really cute chipboard shapes. I picked a couple of light blue triangles to add to the sides of my "title". I think it is the perfect touch to this pretty simple layout.

I knew I wanted to use all these tags right from the get go. Some of them came from the page of cut apart embellishments, and some of them I made from the patterned paper. Tags are probably my favorite embellishment of all time! I could add them to every layout I did and I would not get tired of them. I love that they are kinda the star of the show on this layout.

This layout came together super fast because it is super simple, but I love it. If you want to see how it all came together, you can watch my process video below
