Hello everyone!
Mandy here with you today to share some quick and easy Christmas Cards that I created using the gorgeous Noel kit!
For my first card, I covered the top half of the card with the beautiful woodgrain patterned paper from the kit, and the bottom half with black and white gingham paper from the 6x6 paper pack. I also added a black ribbon from the textured trims pack across the join of the two patterned papers.
I matted one of the journaling cards from the kit with the red solid color paper, and then adhered it to the middle of the card using foam tape for extra dimension. I finished it off by adding one of the chipboard flair pieces to the middle of the wreath on the journaling card. I love how perfectly it fits, and also that it adds a lovely sentiment to the card.
For my next card, I chose the 'winter' patterned paper as the background. I decided to use the 6x6 paper rather than the 12x12 one because the pattern is smaller which works perfectly for a project such as a card. Across the bottom of the card I added a thin strip of the woodgrain paper, as well as a piece of gingham ribbon, and the scallop branding strip off the dark green solid color paper.
For the sentiment on this card, I decided to fussy cut the word 'joy' out of one of the journaling cards, and I adhered it to the card using foam tape. As you can see, it's quite a simple card, but also really cute!
For the last card, I again used the 6x6 patterned papers. This time I covered the top portion of the card with the gingham paper, and then added a narrow strip of the dots across the bottom. I also adhered a piece of red ribbon from the trims pack across the join of the papers.
To embellish this card, I fussy cut one of the beautiful poinsettias from the 12x12 patterned paper, and I adhered it on the left hand side. Using one of the Noel stamps, I then stamped the word 'Christmas' onto FJ white cardstock and cut it into a little banner to add to the card. I finished it off with a few of the mini acrylic stars, which add just a little bit of sparkle!
