Hi Felicity Jane fans!
Happy week! It’s Celes here sharing a new idea… are you ready to create with a lot of flowers? We are going to use the new Emily Collection and make a lovely TN Spread. Fall is here… I love the colors, the cozy feelings and all the flowers we can see during this time of the year…
The Emily collection has such beautiful papers. When I thought about this TN spread, the “Floral & Daises” paper was ideal. I wanted to mix those lovely flowers and make them protagonists. Here is the result!
So… it’s time for fussy cutting :) You can cut as many flowers as you want! First thing to do is to glue a nice thread vertically. I used a metallic hand embroidery thread. At the end of the thread, I glued the tassel die cut.
I cut a lot of flowers and glued them and glued them in layers to give texture to the flower petals. Isn’t this beautiful?
I chose my photo and a journaling card. I used this last one as a base for the photo but, I stuck the photo on top using 3d foam. Also, I added some die cuts and a chipboard flair from the kit… love them all! ;) Other details were a tab cardstock sticker (perfect to stamp the date) and another flower from the paper pad (fussy cutting).
Tip: use 3d foam to create different layers (of the thinnest)
To add a bit of journaling to the photo you can write it by hand, print it on a printer or write it on a typewriter. Depending on the style that I am giving to my TN Spread, I usually choose one of them.
I must confess that I’m completely in love with this TN Spread. I see it and I can’t stop smiling. I love the colors, the flowers and all the lovely and cozy details!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you like this idea. See you soon!
