Dad's Girl | Suzanna Stein

Dad's Girl Layout by Suzanna Stein | @FelicityJane

Hi there everyone! I'm so excited to be sharing my first creative team post. As soon as I received the Maggie kit, I was instantly drawn toward the blues, and of course the black and white patterns.

I had this photo of my boyfriend Cody and our cat Ellie that I was dying to scrap, but never quite felt like I had the right patterned papers and embellishments for it. That was, until the Maggie kit showed up on my doorstep!

I'm always scrapbooking photos of Cody and I using my favorite colors, patterns, and embellishments. Truth be told, they usually all end up having a slightly feminine touch to them. He definitely doesn't mind, but I wanted to create a layout that was completely for him (well, and his little princess.)

Since his favorite color is blue, I knew it would be perfect! And that stamp I used on the tab couldn't explain this photo any better.

I also knew I wanted to use my absolute favorite Felicity Jane cut file. Since I've used it before, I wanted to spice things up and use it in a different way. I absolutely love the texture the embroidery thread added to it!

If you have any tips on how you incorporate cut files into your projects in a unique way, share them below! We'd love to hear them! xo
