Hey friends, I'm back to share another project using the gorgeous Kate kit! I went out of my comfort zone and tried a few new things with this layout.
First, I did a bit of mixed media on my background using some gesso and mists. I did a couple different shades of pink to add a little dimension to this fun neutral patterned paper.
I also used two things I usually don't gravitate toward - gold and stars. Recently I've been trying to use more of both of those things on my layouts because it's fun to go out of my comfort zone and incorporate new pieces!
I had a lot of fun incorporating the vellum in this month's projects and will definitely keep trying to add new elements, colors, and shapes to my projects to push me out of my comfort zone!
