Dear Peggy Traveler's Notebook Page | Andrea Gray

Hey Friends, it's Andrea! Today I'm sharing a TN page and mixing a couple of recent kits to really have some fun! And surprisingly, Summer and Kate really coordinate well!

Here's how I created this layout! Oh! there's a process video to go along with this too - check that out at the end!

So, Peggy is my piano. I added new gingham knobs to the key cover and did a little photo shoot. The colors from the Summer kit were the perfect fit and then I added black and white embellishments from the Kate kit to add pops of contrast!

Because the red grid paper is pretty busy by itself, I didn't want to add a mat behind the photos and thought maybe a fun quirky outline would be better! I also added the AFTER word strip sticker and a gorgeous epoxy heart!

I was so inspired by Suzanna's TN spread that included a vellum sheet from Kate - I just had to try it. I used the striped vellum and secured it down with the grid washi. I only had these two photos, so I added a mini gift bag and treated it with a title, wonky outline and a little card with a story tucked inside.

This side also needed a little more contrast as the bag almost felt like it was floating around there by itself so I added a couple of the heart clusters from the Kate stamp. I used the Kate stamp again on the left page to add the date with the cute little numbers in the set.

To finish off the layout, I punched a tab out of a die cut tag from Kate and stapled it to the edge of the vellum, which I had already punched with a scallop punch tool to add more of that retro vibe.

I had so much fun adding bits and pieces from different kits – maybe you can give it a try too!

If you're interested in seeing how this project came together in a video, check out this video - and thanks for watching!
