Hi everyone!
I hope you've had a wonderful December so far? Today we have a brand new sketch challenge to share with you all and we hope you'll get creative with us too! Let's take a look at the sketch I've designed for this month...
The circular element at the top is open to so may interpretations! It could be a photo, a wreath, or whatever else you can think of! You could also change the two photos and journaling to three photos...or just one photo and more journaling or embellishments. There's just so many ways to make this sketch you own!
Here is the layout I came up with...
I was excited to use this sketch to create a page for my 6 x 8 inch December album. Every year we take some festive photos of our sweet guinea pigs and I knew these photos would be perfect for this sketch!
I decided on the red Tiny Spots paper from the Bella Kit for my border and cut it to 7 x 8.25 inches. A piece of white cardstock was cut to 6 x 7.25 inches and I stitched a border around the edge of my sewing machine before adhering it to the red paper.
My photos were sized to 1.5 x 2.25 inches each and I printed some journaling to the same size too. I stitched around the journaling, added a chipboard heart, then adhered all three pieces across the bottom of the page before embellishing with some candy came die cuts and gold foil dots. I also printed the names onto white cardstock, cut and folded them into little banners for the bottom of each photo.
I cut the wreath from one of the Bella Journaling cards and added it with foam adhesive at the top of the page, then used the “December” word from the Bella stamp set and the gold foil “joy” word from the Noel Kit for the title.
When I’ve worked out which order this will go with my December stories, I will add a number to the centre of the wreath, punch six holes down one of the sides and place it into my album.

I always love seeing what our other creative team ladies do with the sketches and this month they've delivered some gorgeous, festive projects to inspire you!
First up here's Karlla Dauer to share the beautiful page she has created...
I love playing with sketches and I find it amazing how it allows us to be creative.
As soon as I saw this beautiful sketch, I already imagined a large Christmas ornament at the top of the project.
I love that kind of detail. You can take advantage of various papers in the collection.
I hope you like all the details and get inspired by this amazing sketch.
X Karlla

Kerstin Scheidler has a gorgeous project to share using the sketch too...
The most beautiful time of the year is just around the corner! Christmas AND sketch time at Felicity Jane! Sheree has again created an adorable sketch that I had to do!
I used the magical Christmas collection Bella for my layout - yes it became a layout, although I had long thought about making pages for my December album.
I made the bow out of 1/4 inch paper strips. For this I laid the strips and stapled the ends. I glued a slightly wider strip on top. I wrapped the longer strips around a thin pencil and then glued it underneath. My title is from the gold Noel Puffy Stickers.
From the sweet striped journaling card I cut out the Christmas tree with my craft knife. I decorated with the gold Noel Puffy Stickers and Julia Epoxy Dot Stickers.
In the middle I took one of the awesome Bella Pockets to hide my journaling. On a Bella journaling card I glued a Noel Chipboard Flair to be able to pull out my card. I wrapped yarn around the pocket and placed various Bella Die Cut Shapes and Chipboard Bits on top. On the left and below I embroidered long lines in the matching color of the solid cardstock.
My photo is from Christmas 2020. We are very much looking forward to the "staade" time - as we say here in Bavaria/Germany!
I hope I can inspire you to make the wonderful sketch from Sheree. Have fun and Merry Christmas!
Kerstin xx

Now we have Jana Bennett sharing her dreamy page...
I don't think I could've given this sketch a miss! Such a brilliant composition and the circle photo just makes it super unique! Since I do 9x12 pages I had to alter it a bit but after last time I am not afraid to do so. It is so much fun to give the sketch a bit of a twist, right!
I went for a horizontal layout. I had these photos of our kids with our first snow. The group photo is the biggest so it is the one in the circle. Since it is a snowy layout I had the idea to decorate it with snowflakes. I did a bit of drawing and cut the snowflake from a white cardstock. The layout didn't need much journaling, therefore a label sticker was enough. Gosh, I love these label stickers! I already have a good selection of colours and I love how different each label is.
To back the white cardstock in Sheree's way I chose the beautiful red pattern paper. I am all about red this Christmas. The December puffy sticker is from last year's kit Coco and fits perfectly. I hope you will give this sketch a try!

Ulrike Dold has also been creative with the sketch. Let's see what she came up with...
Hi FJ friends!
When I saw the wonderful December sketch by Sheree I felt in love for the first time. I love circle elements and I immediately had a picture of Christmas 2019 in my head. I used a metal die to shape the black and white picture in a circle and my electronic die cutting machine to make a circle of the Essentials White Cardstock a little bit bigger. Then I used the wonderful Bella "Flora & Spots" paper and cut a frame with a width of 2 inches. I cut Essentials White Cardstock to 10.5 x 10.5 inches and glued it on the frame of patterned paper.
I added the picture on the white circle and glued both in the middle and on the top of my 12x12 page. Then I added two of the super cute Christmas tree ornaments of the Bella die cuts in aqua and pink under the picture. I used the sweet black Bella Die Cut Alphabet to write my title beside these ornaments...one part on the left side of them and one at the right side.
I cut the paper strip of the Bella "Stripes & Trees" paper with the numbers and glued it under my title. I used my mini stapler to fix the ends on the paper borders to the white cardstock on both sides. Then I cut three squares of 2 x 2 inches from the 6 x 6 Bella Papers. For the one with the black bows I also cut a smaller square of white cardstock and glued it on it. I added them in the upper third of my layout and decorated them with die cuts, puffy stickers, miniwide paper clips and Bella epoxy dots in the same colors. The pink one on the left side for my girl and aqua square at the right side for my boy. For the square in black and white I used my ruler and made some stripes for my journaling - then I wrote it by hand on the white cardstock. I knew before where I wanted to add the embellishments and so I left some space at these areas. I added it in the middle of the other two squares and decorated it with Bella die cuts in black and white too. I stamped the month & date of the picture on the bottom of the aqua square and used the FJ Roller Date Stamp for it.
At the end I used a wonderful striped Bailey Ribbon Bow and added it on the top of the circle picture. Then I used the Bella Stamps with the mini dots and the little stars and stamped them beside the circle (on the left and the right side). I love the playful look of these stamps on my page. Then I finished this 12x12 layout with the Bella Star Die Cuts and the white Bella chipboard heart. I also added the black mini heart of the Chipboard bits as the "i dot" of the word kiss and I love how it turned out there.
I hope I can inspire you with my sketch version made with the gorgeous Bella collection.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy & healthy new year!
xx Ulli

Our last share today is from Eva Pizarro. Here she is to tell us about her lovely layout...
Hello everyone, I am thrilled to be playing with this month's sketch! The first thing that caught my eye, was that beautiful circle on the top. I wanted to create a wreath so I cut some flowers and branches from one of the Bella patterned papers and layered them. I also added a few die cuts and some ribbon on top.
For my title, I used the Bella chipboard alphabet and added a few Bella Vellum Hearts between the photos. To add my journaling, I wrote inside the wreath, I think it was a nice way to include some color inside the wreath and to use my journaling as a design element. I hope you like it and that you play along this month
