Hi FJ friends,
I am so happy to show you the first look inside of my December Album 2020 in the wonderful black and white Coco binder in faux leather. I want to show you my cover and the first pages today and I hope you like what you will see. I had so much fun with the gorgeous new Coco collection. This collection is so wonderful and the color palette is amazing. I am not the traditional Christmas colors girl and I love to decorate our home and our tree with pink, mint and aqua and so this collection fits perfectly to me this year!
First I made my cover and this time its not so playful like the years before. I cut the additional color card from the Coco Paper Pack and cut the part of the yellow, pink and mint color transitions in 6 x 7 3/8 inches. Then I punched holes into it and used the big Merry Die Cut Cardstock Title in black and glued it on the paper. I love the modern and straight look of it and so I only added the word "Be" vertically before the word "merry" with the cute black Coco Puffy Alphabet. On the bottom I added the year 2020 also with the Coco Alphabet. I only added 4 of the cute gold foil Coco Chipboard stars on this page and my title page was ready.
Then I hung the cute FJ ornament with the gold disk with the year and the FJ logo and the wonderful star in my gold binder rings over this page. I also added a mint big bell from my stash with the white glitter trim from the Coco Trim bag on this ribbon, too. Its such a lovely detail!
On the back of this page I’ve wanted to add a picture of my family and began to layer some different things there. I used the Shay Tag Builder Metal Die and the Coco "Snow & Trees" paper and made a cute little pink tag. I knotted the gold glitter trim, of the Coco collection, on it. In the Coco paper bag are more additional items this year and so I also used a white doily from it on this page.
I added the black and white striped Pocket Front behind my picture too to add a hidden journaling on one of the adorable white Coco Designer Gift Tags. I decided to use the tag with the big star there. This year Christmas is so different to the years before and I typed some of my thoughts down, printed it out and glued the journaling on the back of the tag. Then I glued a big black & white floral washi tape under it.
Then I used the super cute mint Coco Die Cut Christmas ornament to decorate my page. I glued the "hohoho" die cut over it and decorated it with the super cute black polka dot bow which is also included of the Coco Trim Grab Bag. I added one of these super cute mini bells in gold from the Coco Grab Bag and hung it on a mini wide paper clip in mint. I added a title with the word "Christmas" from the Coco Die Cuts and the word "memories" from the Coco Stamp Set and glued it on the bottom of my picture. I added an eyelet in aqua on the designer gift tag and a black and white gingham ribbon. At the end I finished off this page with some Brooke Puffy Shapes in pink and mint.
I wanted to add a shaker pocket next and so I used the 3x8 Inch pocket and filled it with artificial snow, the Coco Sequins, some Bailey Sequins, some gold sequins and some light and bright pink sequins of my stash. I used my sewing machine with white yarn to close this pocket at the top. It’s such a fun page in my December album and hopefully we also get some snow this year in December, too.
For the next page I decided to use the wonderful Coco "Snow and Tree" paper and wanted to add a folder page with a flap. I trimmed it to 12 x 8 1/4 inches and used a folding tool at 7 inch to get a big flap. Then I punched the 6 holes for the wonderful FJ Coco binder. I always write something of every family member in my December albums - the age and the things the family member love the most this year at Christmas time - and this year I wanted to use the super cute Coco Mini Envelopes for it. I glued two on the flap and two of them on the right side (into the inside) of this page and added 4 of the super cute Christmas stockings from the Coco Die Cuts there. Luckily I have two die cut packs because there are only 3 in one pack. I cut little cards from the FJ Essentials White Cardstock in 2 x 2 3/4 inches and added my printed journaling from every family member on them. Then I added on every card a mini wide paper clip in different colors on the top.
I used the Coco solid cardstock in red, green and mint and punched 4 x 1 inch circles. I added the first letters of each name with the white Rebekah Puffy Alphabet and the black Coco Alphabet on them and glued them on the mini envelopes. Then I cut the wonderful floral Die Cut with the roses into two pieces and glued them under two of the mini envelopes.
I added some Coco die cut stars (black and white and gold foil), Brooke Puffy Shapes and sequins in mint and aqua on this page to decorate it. I also used the adorable mini star stamps from the Coco Stamp set and added some black stars here and there. I love the playful look of this page. At the end I added the mint Tab from the Coco die cuts on the flap.
On the other side of the flap I added a Coco tab in black and the big Puffy word from the Coco Puffy Stickers "December" vertically on the border.
I hope you had fun while reading my blog post. I cant wait to see what wonderful pages you will create in your December albums with the cute Coco Christmas collection! Have fun while creating and have a wonderful Christmas time. Until the next time.
xx Ulli
