December Album Day 5-6 with Shaker Stocking 1 | Ulrike Dold | Felicity Jane

Hi FJ friends,

Ulli here with you today and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your beloved ones!

I want to show you day 5 and day 6 from my December Album today, made wit the wonderful Holly collection. At Day 6 are still missing the photos, but I thought I show you this fun page anyway. I made a shaker stocking for this day and I love how this fun element turned out.

For the left side of this double page ( day 5) I used the 2 x 4x6 page protectors from the Holly Album. There are 4 different designs included and this is perfect to get some variety in your album. I cut a white cardstock in the size 4x6 and glued a black and white polaroid photo on the scalloped pinkish Journaling card from the wonderful Holly collection. On this photo my children  clean their boots for Sant Nicholas that he will fill them with candy while they are sleeping in the night to the sixth of December. I stamped two star stamps from the Holly stamp set on it and the „Memories“ stamp - both in black. Then I wrote my journaling by hand on the card and glued the FJ Joy wooden number 5 and the Holly „Hohoho“ Puffy Word Sticker on my 4x6 card. I decorated this card with a lot of pink sequins , a Lola Chipboard piece with a pink heart, some Holly Die Cut stars and some FJ wooden stars in light and dark. I filled the top of the page protector with a paper piece from the Holly Script paper so that the script from the Puffy word repeats on this page.

Then I made the shaker stocking. I cut the stocking with my Silhouette Cameo and the cute FJ cut file (Plaid and stripe stockings) from white cardstock and from the pinkish Holly solid paper. I didn’t used the stripes because I wanted to use this shape for a shaker element only. I put pink sequins, some of the Holly snowflake sequins, two of the grey Holly felt stars, some FJ Stars in light and dark and some wooden stars from previous FJ kits on the stocking and stitched a FJ plastic packaging from the 12x12 papers with my sewing machine on it. I glued it a little bit with Washi tape on the cardstock it to fix it while sewing Then I cut off the protruding plastic foil on the outside with my scissor.

I glued the upper part of the stocking in pink on this shaker element and decorated it with the number 6 of the Zoey Chipboard numbers and a fir branch die cut from the super cute Holly Die Cut Shapes. Of course I had to punch some holes in this shaker element to paste it into my album. Therefor I used a page protector as a template and I used only the three holes on the top of the protector.

As a background for this shaker stocking I cut the Holly Woodgrain paper in  7 x 8 1/4 inch and punched 6 holes with my punch board in it. I decorated on it at the lower edge with a thin pinkish paper stripe from a FJ Joy paper rest and a pinkish velvet bow from the previous Reagan collection.

I hope you like this little insight of my December Album 2018 and I could inspire you to make a little shaker element for your December Album too. I wish you a wonderful turn of the year!

See you in 2019 again.

xx, Ulli
