Hi FJ friends and a Happy New Year to all of you!
Ulli here with you today with my last December album spread until December 2021. In Germany we normally have the Christmas decoration in our homes until today and so I thought this would be a great finish to close this part of this special memory documenting here at the FJ blog.
I made a pocket page of 6x8 inches and filled it with a layout with the wonderful embossed Coco Cardstock Designer Tags. I also filled a 3x8 inch page protector with sequins as a shaker pocket. Here we go!
I began with the big page for the 6x8 pocket page and cut the Coco Plaid & Grid paper with the Polka Dot Stripe on the bottom to the right size. Then I decided which four embossed Coco designer tags I wanted to use and knotted four different ribbons from the Coco grab bag and from other trims of my stash on the tags. I glued the tags in two lines on the page. Then I added a small picture on the tag on the right side on the top and added a mint miniwide paper clip there. On the left side below I added one of these wonderful Coco labels in gold and glued the big black Coco chipboard number on the top. I love the clean look of them. They are so wonderful!
I also added one of these cute acrylic houses in white from last year's Noel Christmas collection on the picture and I added the "Festive" Holly word sticker under it. The acetate star divider which you can see a little bit under this page is from the last year's Noel collection too. I’m working mostly on my December album from 2019 and so these are in my album.
For the other side I wanted to add also one of the wonderful embossed designer tags and I wanted to make a shaker pocket and a little journaling. So I began to fill the 3x8 pocket with the Coco Sequin Mix without the red stars. You see, I used the color pink here and used no red color in this spread. I also filled it with some FJ snowflake sequins in white and gold and some mint sequins from my stash. Then I closed it with a thin tacky tape on the top.
I saw that the sequin stars with gold foil matched perfectly with the embossed star designer tag and so I added some of the chipboard stars on that tag. I knotted a black and white ribbon on the tag and layered it with a white library card from the Shay collection on the 3x8 inch pocket. I glued the things on the top of the pocket with some tacky tape. I also added a cute tab with pink and white dots from the Bailey die cut shapes on the left side.
For the other side (the front of this page) I used the "Merry" lettering from the amazing Coco Cardstock Words in black and punched two holes into the M to add this word before the shaker pocket into my album. I used a Megan Journaling Card "Here & Now" and stamped some lines with black ink on this card and wrote a little journaling on it by hand. Then I glued this card on the pocket so that the other card from the other side was covered with this one. I also added one of the cute gold foil chipboard stars on the top and my entry for day number 17 in my December album 2019 was ready.
I really love the look of this page. It was so easy to make this fun spread for my December album.
Thank you for stopping by and until the next time, I am happy you took some time to read my blog post and to see some more pictures.
Have a wonderful week and a good start into the hopefully so much better year 2021!
xx Ulli
