December Album Stamp & Cut File Inspiration with Holly | Lorilei Murphy
Hello! Hope your December is going great! Lorilei here today, sharing Day 3 in my album! I am using the gorgeous Holly kit for these pages and a cut file from the Felicity Jane Digital section in the shop. I was starting out with the back of Day 2, so I was working with 2 - 3x4 pockets and a 6x4 pocket.
I added a photo I took that morning of my skincare, I thought it looked very festive! I like to include everyday photos in my December album. My thinking is it works as a snapshot of parts of our life right now and will help to remember things in years to come! In the next pocket, I made a flip card by stamping a blank 3x4 piece of white cardstock that I stamped with the lovely branch stamp from the Holly set. I added a tab to the bottom and an enamel round number button from my stash for a flip-up tab on the card.
On the facing page I used a full size photo and added a 2 inch circle from the woodgrain paper and the gold foil 3 chipboard alpha.
I knew that the Joy cut file would be somewhere in my album and this seemed like the perfect day for it! I cut the file from white cardstock and added the buffalo check plaid paper behind it. I added the holly die cut and glued on 3 red sequins to the berries for some added sparkle! I sprinkled some extra sequins into the pocket to float around!
I am loving using the Holly kit in my December album. The colors are right up my alley and everything is so easy to use!
