Hi FJ Friends!
Ulli here with you today. I made a December Mini with the gorgeous new Bella collection and I hope you like it. Here you can see the cover.
First I cut two pieces of chipboard to 4 x 5 1/4 inches and 1 x 1 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches. I used the Bella "Stripes & Trees" paper and cut it to 11 x 7 inches and covered all three pieces with it. Then I glued the Bella gingham ribbon on the front and the back cover inside. I cut the pink solid cardstock from the Bella collection to 5 1/8 x 9 3/8 inches and glued it inside of my mini book. Then I cut a piece of the Essentials White Cardstock to 2 1/8 x 4 1/8 inches and used a stencil with two different snowflakes shapes. I used a piercer to make the holes into the paper and used mint and red yarn to stitch the snowflakes on the paper. I added the "Joy" Puffy Sticker in the middle and added nearly all of the Bella Epoxy Dots around them. I added the green and mint ones on the top with the green snowflake and the pinkish and red ones at the bottom around the red snowflake and I love the look of it. Then I added this piece of cardstock with 3D dots on the front of my December album.
Then I made the pages of the album with the Bella 6 x 6 paper pack. I used four different patterns and one page is made from white cardstock. I cut every paper to 5 1/8 inches x 4 1/4 inches and folded it at 4 inches, so that I had a 1/4 inch fold to glue it into the spine of the album later. I am always a little bit afraid to glue pages directly into an album and so I also cut a piece of 1 1/4 x 5 1/8 inches of white cardstock. I decided the order of the pages and glued them always with their fold on this piece of paper. Then I added it into the spine of my album with some tacky glue tape.
I added the red gingham Bella Cardstock Pocket into the inside of the cover and wrote a little journaling by hand on a pinkish Bella library card. I punched a hole into the top and fixed a red Bella Ribbon there. Then I added the die cut with the car and the tree on the bottom of the pocket and the year with the Bella Gold Foil Puffy Alphabet Stickers. On the other side I added a big picture of cinnamon stars - our favorite Christmas cookies - on the page. I added a red mini wide paper clip on the top and decorated the right edge below with a Bella label and two Puffy Stickers.
On the left side of the next pages a big family picture of us in black and white and added the fir tree garland on the top with 3D dots. I also used the Bella stamp with the date box and stamped it on pinkish solid paper . Then I added the date with the FJ roller date stamp on it. I cut it out and added it on the picture. I also used a white mini wide paper clip there. On the right side I added the cute "All Things Merry & Bright" journaling card of the Bella collection. I decorated it with the Santa hat puffy sticker and a fir tree branch on the right edge below.
On the next page I was inspired by my last Bella layout with the Bella Vellum Hearts. Maybe you have seen it. I cut two pictures into heart shapes and added them with many of the Bella Vellum Hearts on these two pages. I folded every heart and the photos in the middle to get a playful 3D look. On the left side I added the word "tree" with the black Bella Die Cut Alphabet and beside it the Bella die cut tree. Then I added some of the cute Bella Epoxy Dots here and there.
I cut out the inside of the wreath from the Bella journaling card and backed it with a small picture. Then I added it on the left page. I glued three of the chipboard stars from the Bella Chipboard Bits under it. On the other side I added a big picture, but I only glued it on the right and the below border with a glue tape to get a little pocket. I added a picture on the green library card and on the journaling card with the trees I added the sweet die cut house with the Christmas decoration. I wanted more red color and added the word "Joy" on the big picture. I used the cute Millie Puffy Alphabet in red and I also decorated the wreath and the journaling cards with the tiny hearts of the Millie puffy alphabet. These red alphabet stickers are match so well to the Bella kit. You should give it a try.
On the next page I made a cute scalloped pocket with the paper packaging from the Bella Die Cuts. I turned it 180 degrees and glued on the right and left side a tacky tape on the borders. Then I added this pocket on the page with the diagonal stripes. I cut a black and white picture into a tag shape and punched a hole into the top. I used the white fluffy Bella ribbon on this tag. I also added the two small tags from the Bella Die Cuts and fixed ribbons on them. I added all the three tags in the pocket. I decorated everything with Bella Die Cuts and Puffy Stickers and this is probably my favorite page in this December album.
On the other side I added another picture. I decorated it with the Bella garland and the Christmas ornaments. I also added a mint mini wide paper clip there and the word "Merry" with the Bella Gold Foil Puffy Alphabet.
For the last page I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 3/8 x 3 5/8 inches. I used texture paste and the Bella Retro Star stencil and added the white star pattern on the white cardstock. I used a 2 inch circle punch and punched the two pictures into circles. I added them on the Retro Star paper (one on the top and one on the bottom) and decorated everything with die cuts and puffy stickers. I also added the number 24 with the red Millie Puffy Alphabet there, because in Germany Santa comes on the 24th of December and the pictures are from Christmas two years ago. I also stamped the Christmas stamp from the Bella Stamp Set on solid cardstock in pink and cut it out. Then I added it in the middle of the pictures with 3D dots.
At the end I fixed the red striped mini chipboard tag of the Bella collection on the ribbon of the album and glued a little chipboard heart in red on it. It's a little eye catcher and so cute!
