Decorative Wall Hanger | Sandra Dietrich

Welcome to the Felicity Jane Blog today! It’s me Sandra. Longing for Spring to arrive, I created a decorative wall hanger. It can be put up on a door. It can also be used as a piece of wall decoration. To make the hanger, I used a piece of gray board and book binding glue. And I mixed the wonderful Bailey February Collection with bits and pieces from older collections (Harper, Shay, Madison, and Rebekah).

The centre piece is a layered embellishment cluster including journaling cards, and a little paper frame. The message is “Today. Tomorrow. Always. I choose us. Love you + me”. The perfect message for Valentine’s Day and for every day too!

To decorate my hanger, I used many of the delicate and wonderful embellishments from Bailey. My favorite items are the Felt Hearts.

I also included several items from older collections. And I made sure that they match the color scheme of the Bailey Collection. The Chipboard Tags from Harper, some Die Cut Shapes from Shay, and the Rebekah Tiny Tags work fine with the embellishments and patterned papers from Bailey.

Last but not least, I attached two baby blue eyelets at the top and added a white Essentials Cotton Ribbon for the handle.
