Hello friends! It's Andrea and I'm sharing a fun layout using the newest Brooke collection! When I saw the 2x2 vellum papers I just knew I wanted to make a grid design using them so I started there for the base.
Once I picked out the 2x2 papers, I knew I wanted die cuts and embellishments that were the same shade to be layered on each square. I pulled shapes and pieces from the die cut pack and started seeing what looked good and popped off the vellum.
I used the crape paper ruffle as a square and added some alphas to it. Some squares got a bit of text, some just a shape, but I wanted to make each one unique and not replicate any of them even though they all had similar elements.
The title actually came last - after I had chosen the 2x2 quote. I added puffy stickers to a strip of white crape trim so it stood out and had texture.
I also had fun roughing up the edges and pulling up some corners. I always think it's fun to add a little something "under" the corner - like a little reveal - so I added a puffy shape where the corner would have been.
I could have played for hours just adding colors to more and more squares!
Thank you for being here and I hope you found something fun and inspiring in this project. Even if it's simply playing with color or adding texture to your projects!
See you next time!
Andrea

Another fave Andrea! The mini 2×2 pad caught my eye earlier as I was browsing the shop! Love this!
