Dressing Up My Planner | Banning Lane

Hands down one of my favorite things about any Felicity Jane kit is the papers. They are just so perfect every time. When I got this month's "Oh, Deer" kit I took out all the papers and immediately thought how good they would look in my planner. So, I decided to make some new dividers to take me through the rest of the year.

Seriously every time I open this planner now I smile!

My planner lives on my desk. The only time I ever take it with me is if I know I will have some downtime that will be spent sitting in the car, which hardly ever happens. Because of this, I never utilize the pockets at the front of my planner. I still want that space to look pretty, so I will usually fill it up with photo's of my little girl. This time I also used some Felicity Jane paper and as well as that great floral from the cut apart sheet to make it even more special. And of course I couldn't forget those super cute bow clips. I seriously  need one of those in every color!

I have a small white notebook that I keep in the front of my planner that I use to organize all my lists and plans for Christmas. I wasn't planning on ever decorating it, but made a last minute decision to sneak into my "Hello, Christmas" kit and add a couple of these word strips! I love how simple it is! You can pre-order you "Hello, Christmas" kit here.

So after I got the front of my planner decorated, I moved on to picking my papers for my new inserts. All the papers were great, so I knew I couldn't make a wrong choice here. To make this process super easy, I searched the Silhouette Design Store for a A5 planner insert cut file. They were done in no time!

While I had my supplies out, I decided to do a little planning. Next week will be a bit of an off week because its the week of Thanksgiving. I know that our regular routines will be out the window, and it will be a plan as I go kinda week.

I love how versatile these Felicity Jane inserts are. Some weeks are full of notes and lists, and other weeks are more bare, but either way they help me accomplish my goals!

I also took the opportunity to play a little since the second half of my week is really going to be about spending time with family and I probably won't even open my planner for the most part.

So happy to have fresh new inserts and a fresh new look in my planner. I know in a couple of months I will probably be itching to switch it up again, but for now this will do just fine.

I would love to see how every one else has dressed up their planners for the Holidays. Be sure to leave a link in the comment section below, or post a picture to our Felicity Jane subscribers Facebook page.

This is so pretty Dannielle! You’ve totally convinced to me that I need to buy that planner I’ve had my eye on for a while now!
