Hello and happy Friday! Anita here and today I'm sharing how I "dressed up" my personal size planner using the FJ "Jane" kit. I usually use my A5 size planner but got a beautiful rose gold Kate Spade planner a while back and really wanted to see if I could make the personal size work for me. I'm slowly warming up to this size and now that I use it more regularly, I wanted to make it pretty and decorate it a bit so I created some simple dividers and clips to make it more fun.

To my surprise, this month's floral pattern was a perfect match to the inside lining of my planner. The soft pinks looked so beautiful together and I immediately knew I wanted to use it as the main dashboard/front divider for this planner. Since I don't cram as much into this planner, I only needed 3 sections and chose 3 patterned papers to use as dividers. I added those beautiful gold chipboard letters to the front of my dashboard to spell the word "today" since this planner is mainly used for daily activities and lists. I then cut out the cute little tabs from the cut apart sheet, printed my section names on regular paper and then cut out and adhered the names onto the tabs. Once the tabs were complete, I adhered them directly onto the dividers. Easy peasy!

In addition to the dividers, I thought it would be fun to make some decorative planner clips to add to the pockets on the inside cover of this planner. If you haven't done this before, it's really easy and a fun way to personalize your planner. I selected a few of the gorgeous flair in this month's kit, some small gold paper clips and then adhered them together using foam dots. I did the same with the sweet little bird from the cut-apart sheet and now I have this fun set of clips!

Here's how the clips look inside my planner:

Finally, here's how all of the items I created look together inside my planner. I love how they all turned out and love that my pretty planner is all "dressed up" and ready to go!
