Hi FJ friends!
After a long time doing no pocket pages I was totally in the mood for some Easter pages from last year and the wonderful, fresh Millie collection was just perfect for them. Here is my complete double page:
First I´ve searched for some pictures I wanted to use and cut 4 of them into 3x4 inches. Then I punched a picture with colored eggs in a circle shape to 2.5 inches. The last one I cut a little smaller than 3x4 Inch and glued it on a white 3x4 Inch card to have some white space around the picture.
I began to put some of the wonderful fresh Millie journaling cards into my pockets and decided to use the one with the colorful circles, the "love" card and the one which looks like a library card with a hole on the top on the first page.
On the right side I decorated my picture with a mint mini wide paper clip, the pink Millie die cut ticket with the heart and used the Millie stamp set to make my own die cut with the "The Sweetest" stamp. I glued the circle picture on the library card. I stamped the words "I love you so much" on the love card and added a pink heart puffy sticker on the "o" of the word love. I decorated the sweet card with the colored circles with the Millie heart puffy stickers. These are probably my favorite embellishments of this collection. They are so cute and the colors and patterns are perfection!
On the other side I put the wonderful magnolia pictures on the top of my 4 pocket page and the other 3x4 picture on the right side on the bottom. On the card with the white frame I added the cute black label from the Millie die cuts, stamped with the FJ roller date stamp the date on a piece of white cardstock and glued it on it. Then I used the cute heaxgon banner from the Millie Die Cut Shapes and glued it over the top of both pictures in the pockets on the bottom. I used the light pink label with the black heart and added "my favorite" stamped with the Millie stamp set on another small piece of paper. I glued this label on the right side of one of these magnolia pictures.
My page was too full for a title and the journaling, so I wanted to add a special element into the pages. I decided to search after a cut file with an Easter egg and found one with wonderful florals on the bottom. I used the fantastic FJ Essentials White Cardstock and cut the cut file with my electronic cutting machine. I backed it with some paper pieces from the Millie collection and used the following papers: "Dots & Flowers", "Bold Stripes & Swirls", "Plaid & Tiny Hearts" and the pink solid cardstock. The idea was to use the great FJ Acetate Pop-Ins to put the big egg between my pages. To have a clean back of this egg I backed it with the Felicity Jane Essentials White Cardstock. The I glued the egg on one of the Acetate Pop-Ins. The Pop-In was a little too long and so cut a small part on the bottom with a scissors. Then I could add this element into my wonderful FJ leather album with the 6 rings.
I added the title "Easter Prep" with the wonderful and simple Amanda alphabet stickers on the Easter egg and added the mustard Millie circle die cut with the heart on it too. I’ve used 3 D Dots to add some dimension.
On the back of this element I stamped the word "Story" and some hearts from the Millie stamp set. I added some lines in the Millie Polka Dot Tag and wrote the journaling by hand into this cute little tag. Then I glued it on the back of the Easter egg element and added some of the cute Millie Heart Puffy Stickers around it.
