Hi FJ friends!
I am so happy to be here on the blog again today and I have a little mini album with the gorgeous new Megan collection for you. More precisely said a mini album made with the paper packaging from the Megan paper pack. It has all the different and cute Megan patterns on it and when I held this beautiful paper in my hands for the first time, it I had directly the idea to make a quick and easy mini.
Maybe you think creating a mini album needs much time or its very difficult. My answer for you is „No!". It don’t have to be difficult to make a little leporello mini album and if you keep it simple it is so fast done like a layout or another project.
And so you can create it:
Cut the little paper stripe with the label and the bar code from the bottom of the paper packaging. Then you have a paper with the size 5.5 x 12 inch. Fold the longer side of this paper every 3 inch with a folding tool. Then you can crease it like a harmonica on this points and you have the matrix from your own little leporello mini album.
Now you can rotate it 90 degrees and its ready to glue your photos in it and to decorate it with with the super pretty Megan embellishments!
I cut my photos in the height 3 inch - like the height of the pages. But of course you can use the size you want! For the cover I used the Beautiful Die Cut Shape and the Felicity Jane Lowercase stamp set. I love the FJ stamp sets - they are so versatile! I’ve used one of these cute little puffy stickers with the hearts to make a heart I point on the word „Beautiful“ and I love this little effect.
On the next pictures you can see how I decorate the front side of the mini album. I glued two photos over the FJ label and used another one only as a thin photo stripe. I adore that so much from the beautiful patterns and the scalloped borders are visible.
I kept decorating very simple and only used some of these wonderful Megan stamps and the cute flower and tag Die Cut Shapes from the Megan collection. I used some photos from everyday life moments from September 2015. Its never to late to document older photos too. It was so much fun for me, because I’ve used baby pictures from our daughter and she turns 5 in the end of June. She was so small and cute!
The back of the mini I decorated with 4 photos and also with the wonderful Megan stamps. I used the amazing floral paper from the 6x6 paper pack too and fussy cut some of the pretty flowers from the floral paper in 12x12.
I also used the cute striped Felicity Jane Washi Tape on the bottom of the backside. For another photo I made a little rainbow paper border with the 6x6 rainbow paper and a border punch.
To hold this mini album together I’ve used white ribbon and made a bow on the top.
I hope you like my easy and quick leporello mini album. Maybe I could inspire you to do your own with the new FJ paper packaging. Have fun with this adorable new Felicity Jane Kit and have a great day!
xo, Ulli
