Elegant Fall Card Pockets | Sandra Dietrich

Elegant Fall Card Pockets | Sandra Dietrich

Hello and welcome to the Felicity Jane Blog today. It’s me Sandra and I’m sharing two elegant Fall card pockets that I made with the pretty Harper Collection Kit. I used some of my favorite items from the Harper Kit to create the card pockets. The pockets can hold small cards or notes and they are also great to store cute Fall embellishments. My absolute faves from the kit are the felt leaves. I combined the leaves with die cut shapes, one of the decorative black and white frames from the kit. And I added mini wood leaves as cute accents onto the pockets.

Making the pockets is quite effortless. Cut two card bases (4" x 12"), score them at 6" and fold the cards. Then use double-sided tape to glue the paper together, leaving the top open to make the pocket.

I created a cute embellishment cluster for the first pocket. I started by attaching one of the frames from Harper onto the front of the pocket. And then, step-by-step, I added felt leaves, die-cut shapes, mini wood leaves, and the title ‘grateful’.

The second pocket has a notch at the top. TIP: You can make the notch with a circle punch. The Gold Foil Puffy Alphabet Stickers are perfect to add a title onto the pocket. I went for “Fall 4 You”, because I just LOVE this word play.
