Hello FJ Friends!
I’ve been working on some pocket pages using the Elizabeth Kit that I’d like to share with you today.
I love the pretty journaling cards that are included in the FJ kits each month and there’s always something to suit any occasion! When I saw the card with lemons printed all over it I knew exactly which photos I wanted to use it with! I also chose the card with black and white stripes, the pink Details card and the rows of stars card too.
I added a die cut label to the lemons card, added a line of machine stitching, then the word ‘yum’ using the Jaimee Puffy Alphabet Stickers. A little heart charm finished this card off.
I chose the banner sticker from the layered sticker pack and removed the flower to save for another project. The banner sticker was adhered to the top right of the photo, then I added an epoxy heart and a word charm. The printed journaling was added to the striped card, I stitched around the edge then added the lemon layered sticker to the top.
The second page is about our day out to our local show. I printed out some journaling to fit inside each space of the pink details card, stamped the date at the bottom, then added a line of stitching to each strip. Epoxy dots were positioned at each end of the date to add a little colour. For the photo next to this card I used an epoxy heart and another word charm.
The banner from the layered sticker pack was adhered across the top of the next photo and then I added some stitched lines between each row of stars on the stars card to finish it off.
You can see my process in the video below...
I’ve had so much fun creating with the Elizabeth Kit this month and I hope I’ve given you a few ideas to use on your projects!
Thank you joining me on the blog today! See you again soon!
