Hello FJ Friends,
Anna here with you today. For today’s Friday Favorite post, I’m focusing on the Embossed Designer Gift Tags. They’re all white and have different embossed patterns. You can use them as a gift tag, or to embellish your December Daily for example. I’m going to give you some inspiration to use them with the Coco collection.
For my first tag, I went for a clean and simple design. I took the polka dot tag and glued this tiny dotted bow from the Christmas trims grab bag in the center. Below it, I placed the die cut that says “ho ho ho” with foam squares. I used the Shay tag builder metal die set to cut a reinforcer from the solid pink cardstock. Finally, I tied a piece of vellum with one of the trims of the bag.
In this one, I used the embossed letters as a guide to punch the holes. Then, I did a hand stitching with colored threads that match the collection. I stamped a star from the stamp set with gold embossing powders. I tied this furry cord with a little bell hanging on it.
Another simple design, but I love how it turned out. I raised up this cute Christmas tree from the die cut shapes with foam squares, stacking this puffy sticker from the Noel collection. I embellished the lower part of the tag with a pom pom trim and made a gold hole reinforcer.
This tag has a romantic look. I sewed a piece of tulle on the tag, and put a die cut on top of it. Then, I stamped “merry & bright” with gold embossing powder on a label from the label book. To finish the tag, I glued two gold stars and sewed a gold striped trim from last year’s Christmas kit.
I love the natural look of this one. Behind it, I put one of the journaling cards, with a piece of paper from the Noel collection at the top, that I cut with the Shay tag builder die set. Then, I made machine stitching all around the Christmas tree embossed tag, placing a gold chipboard star on the top of the tree and an epoxy sticker from the Taylor collection.
For the last one, I created a shaker pocket using the star sequin mix and the embossed star tag with my fuse tool and page protectors. I combined the eyelet and the trim with the colors of the stars. On top of the embossed star, I placed the put the word “Christmas” from the Coco puffy stickers.
I hope you like these tags and they give you some ideas to create your own. It’s a bit difficult to see it in the photos because of the light, but the texture of the tags is really beautiful. You can also try to highlight it with inks.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I can’t wait to see what you create with Coco!
See you soon!
