Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! I’ve had an extra Note To Self binder lying around and decided to turn it into a place to keep my sermon notes, study notes, and prayers. This will be a great way to showcase some of the beautiful patterned papers like the ones from the Katherine Collection! Be sure to checkout the process video at the end of this post to see how this prayer layout came together.
This is a photo from today’s walk and I added the text to the photo using one of the stamps from the digital Jill collection. I never have good luck stamping on photo paper so this is a great option!
Since this is going into a binder, I can go a little crazy with layers and dimensional pieces. Behind the photo is one of the journaling cards, some tissue paper, & a grid 3x5 card I had on my desk. I then added a few embellishments to bring in the different colors that I knew I’d be using on the opposite page.
For the opposite page, I layered some white cardstock onto the patterned paper so I’d have a clean space to type out my prayer.
At the top of the page, I partially stamped the ‘currently’ stamp so that it would say ‘current’ and paired that with some of the puffy alpha stickers from the Katherine Collection. A branding strip helps separate the title from the journaling. I added some epoxy hearts, a miniwide paper clip, and one of the Grace Tabs for additional embellishment.
There was some extra space at the bottom of the page so I added a cluster using one of the tags and a label. I absolutely love the new Essentials | Label Stickers No.1 and they pair well with the Katherine and Today stamp to create a dated label.
I’m excited to have a pretty place to keep all my Faith related journaling and documenting now! The binder lets me add pages as needed and move things around if I want. Check out the process video for more details and head on over to the shop to grab some beautiful Katherine products!
