Faith MemoryDex™ | Verse Cards | Lindsey Lanning

Faith MemoryDex™ | Verse Cards | Lindsey Lanning

Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! Today I’m sharing some faith Memorydex™ cards that I created to have on hand as I come across verses that I want to have out on my desk. I find it’s helpful to create a bunch of cards at once and then just add verses to the back as I need them.

Here are a few cards that I made using mostly products from the Shay Collection. This collection is one of my favorites so I love that I now have some of my favorite pieces and prints out where I can see them on a daily basis.

For all of these cards I created bases that were 3.5”Wx4.25”H with rounded corners and then used a punch to create the holes at the bottom so that they would fit in a Memorydex™ box. Under each of the following photos is a list of links to the different products used on each card in case you want to recreate any of these for yourself!

One thing I love about creating cards like these is that you can use lots of dimensions and textures without having to worry about the added bulk. For this card I added some small staple details and popped some of the elements up on foam adhesive.

I find myself hoarding the die cut girls so I try and use them up on projects like this where I’ll get to enjoy them more regularly than I would in an album or on a journaling page.

Don’t forget to mix and match past Felicity Jane collections. There are usually some colors that are similar which makes this easy to do. This is also a great time to pull out some of those dies and get some use out of them.

This larger “love” die from the Lindsey Collection is the perfect size for cards like these! I often times run out of puffy stickers so I like that I can switch things up by using the dies with the solid colored papers that come in the paper packs.

Tone on tone stamping is a great way to add details to your patterned papers. For this card, I stamped “happy happy happy” on a few of the lines in a similar color to the paper. The rest of the card is kept simple so that the paper isn’t too covered up.

You could easily adapt these designs for greeting cards as well! I hope these give you some ideas for how to use up some of your stash and mix and match collections to create a batch of cards.

Until next time!
<3 Lindsey

I love watching all your videos and enjoyed looking at these cards!! Did you cut the cards out yourself or did I just miss them when I searched for memorydex cards?
Thanks!

Where did you get the actual memorydex box and did you have a die for the cards themselves?
