Hello and welcome to the Felicity Jane Blog today. It’s me Sandra and I’m sharing a couple of fancy Christmas greetings that I created with the beautiful Noel collection. The Noel collection is filled with wonderful papers and stylish embellishments. And it’s super easy to create stunning and pretty Season’s projects with Noel. I created two Christmas cards, a gift journaling card, a cute gift hanger, and a decorated gift bag. Let’s have a look at the projects.
I added some fun embellishments to decorate today’s pretty paper things: ribbons, snowflakes ribbon, die cut shapes, washi tape, an acrylic Christmas tree, and stamped accents.
The first card is a slip-in pocket. To make the pocket, simply score and fold a 6 x 6 patterned paper at 3”. Then seal the pocket with double sided tape, and add two notches on the left and the right side. TIP: You can make the notches with a circle punch. Next, cut a card to fit inside the pocket. If you wish, you can add a stamped sentiment onto the card with black ink and the Noel Stamp Set.
Finally, decorate the pocket with a ribbon, die cut shapes from Noel, and one of the Noel Chipboard Numbers. As a cute accent, you can stamp the sentiment ‘hohoho’ onto the card.
The second card pocket is similar to the first one. To decorate the pocket, I used a snowflake ribbon and three Noel Chipboard Flairs. And I stamped the sentiment ‘merry’ from the Noel Stamp Set onto the card with gold ink. This adds a nice and glamorous touch to the card.
The slip-in pockets work well as individual greeting cards. However, you can also create an envelope to make your greetings even more stylish. Just grab a glassine bag - I’m sure you have some of these in your stash. And then add a fancy ribbon, and one of the Noel Designer Gift Tags onto the bag. If you want to, you can leave the designer gift tag blank. I just added a bit of decoration: a Noel Die Cut Shape, some of the Noel Mini Acrylic Star Confetti, two leaves, and a cute little bell.
