"Finally There" TN Album Spread │ Lydia Cost

Hey there, amazing crafty friends! It’s Lydia again today, and I’m sharing a fun look inside my TN sized album. I started this spread with the hopes to use the amazing puffy alphas that always come in our beloved FJ kits!

If I know one thing about myself, it’s that I have no idea how to create without my alphas. They span the length of an entire shelf of my crafty shelf, and I sigh in audible pleasure every time I survey my options. My FJ alphas are no less! I decided that I’d use the Amanda alphas to title my spread along the left side, for a title that really pops off the page.

For my left hand side, I chose one small photo to highlight. I popped it up with foam and layered on some patterned paper and tissue paper. I love to stitch on my tissue paper for extra character and dimension. After fussy-cutting some lemons from the patterned papers, I put my title in alongside the edge of the sheet, so it draws in the eye. This is one of my favorite places to put my puffy sticker titles, because it really draws the eye to every angle of the spread.

Next I stamped on some of the most perfect sentiments to further explain my title. I finished the left side of the spread by adding in some typewriter text, that really filled out the rest of the page.

On the right side I wanted to do a small tip-in, that would highlight another great photo of my little along the shore at sunset. I love the way the tiny star die cuts make for the perfect stitched on addition to each section of my spread. These smaller tip-ins are also perfect for adding tons of journaling on the back, or creating pockets for extra photos!

I finished up my spread by adding another TN sized paper on the right side. I chose the simple striped paper, to bring out all the colors of the collection. I placed a full size 4x6 photo on the top, a few die cuts, and then some more journaling along the bottom side. The black typewriter font, was the perfect thing to draw out the black font of the puffy alphas in my finished spread!
