Hello everyone,
I hope you have had a great week and you are excited for the upcoming weekend (and hopefully you get some crafty time as well). Today I have a layout inspiration for you, so please allow me to tell you how it all came together.
My favourite FJ products are the papers for sure! I love their design and the combination of colours and black and white sides. And the white is just the purest white ever! When I spotted this Emily paper with the "hills" I knew I wanted to challenge myself to use it. I would usually go with a white cardstock as my background paper but sometimes it is so refreshing to try something new. I had these three photos of our kids on their first day at school and I decided to cut them in circles so that they would fit nicely with the background paper.
First I wanted to embellish the photos with die cuts and the chipboard flairs in the same colour like the background, kind of a tone on tone effect. But then I just cut out a few florals and decorated the photos as best I could.
In order to try and cut a long story short (not my forte - just ask my husband!) I also managed to shoot a process video and I hope you will enjoy watching it. The video will definitely tell you everything about how the page came together.
Thank you so much for being here with me today and I hope you have a lovely weekend.
