Hi FJ friends,
Ulli here with you and I have a new binder spread with the gorgeous Felicity Jane Katherine collection for you. I started with my wonderful white scalloped FJ binder, two white pages, two Magnolia pictures, some Felicity Jane Katherine papers and the label stickers and the Puffy stickers of the Katherine collection.
First I fussy cut some flowers from the wonderful Katherine Flowers & Stars patterned paper. I wanted to make a flower bouquet of the flowers with a bow. Because of this I used two different bow metal dies and the Katherine Floral & Spots paper to make three different bows. First I wanted to use only one of these, but then I decided to take all of them. They are so cute! For the left page I decided to make a background for my pictures with many different labels from the wonderful Essentials Label Stickers. I only used the colors pink and red. This color scheme matches perfectly to the pinkish magnolia blossoms. Then I glued the two pictures with 3 D dots on the labels and decorated them with two of my three self made paper bows below.
I decorated the picture with one of the super cute miniwide paper clips in dusty rose and three of the Grace Chipboard Bits. Then I glued the "Love this" puffy sticker from the Katherine Puffy Stickers on the pink label under the pictures.
For the binder page on the right side I cut a paper strip with 2.5 inches of the pretty Katherine Stripes & Sparkles paper and fussy cut also some strips (pink to red) from the same paper. I glued this smaller paper strip over the other one. Then I added the flower bouquet of the fussy cut flowers and the 3rd bow with the Spots paper on this page. I decided to make a big title on this binder page and searched for a quote for the Covid-19 time. I wanted to use the word "Hope" in the wonderful handwriting from the Grace Rainbow Stamp and so I found the following quote: "Where flowers bloom so does hope". I added the words with the cute little black Madison Puffy Alphabet Stickers and the Katherine Alphabet Stickers. I only used pinkish and pink letters from the Katherine Alphabet to pick up the color scheme from the other binder page too. For the word "Hope" I used the Grace Rainbow Stamp and black ink.
The pictures from the wonderful magnolia tree is from April 2019. It was not an easy time for us, but these wonderful blossoms of the tree in our garden made me smile everyday. I wrote a little journaling and printed it out. Then I glued it under the pictures and the labels with stickers.
On the left picture I added the wonderful FJ Essentials Puffy Alphabet with the Tiny Dots for the month and I also added the year on the label beside it. I also fussy cut some blossoms and glued it with 3 D dots on this page.
To finish off my binder spread I splattered black ink across my page and added some of the cute little Brooke Puffy Shapes here and there. I do not often scrap binder spreads, but every time I love the process of these pages. Its a smaller format and I enjoy it to document my favorite pictures and stories there.
