Hi FJ friends,
Ulli here today sharing my first project with the wonderful and fresh Elizabeth collection. When I saw the Elizabeth collection the first time I knew I would have to make a layout with a shaker pocket with this adorable lemon confetti. This collection is so fun and perfect for your summer projects. Every pattern is super pretty and it´s amazing to work with all the cute papers and embellishments! I wanted to show many of the lovely patterns on this page and so I decided to make a 12x12 scrapbook page with a grid design. So I cut down 3x3 inch paper pieces with the pinkish cardstock, the Lemons & Tiny Dots paper, the Stripes paper, and the Gingham & Script paper.
I decided to use a photo from our vacation at Bali in June with me wearing flip flops and holding some of my favorite flowers in my hand: Frangipanis! I love the smell of citrus and blooms of them and they also look so beautiful! No other collection could matches better to this photo - with all the lemon papers, the lemon embellishments, the lemon confetti and it´s flowers the Elizabeth collection is just perfect for this picture. I printed it with my mini instax printer. Then I cut down a piece of white cardstock and filled a empty FJ package from some embellishments with the cute lemon confetti, some pinkish sequins and some of the Lola and Jaimee sequins. I stitched this shaker bag on the white cardstock and cut down the overlaying part with my scissors. I moved the paper squares around to find the perfect place for each of them. Then I glued them on the layout.
I added my photo on the polka dot paper and used my die cutting machine to make some palm leafs with the pink, mint and white cardstock. I also made my own embellishments with the wonderful Elizabeth Stamp Set and the matching Elizabeth Metal Dies. I stamped the flip flop stamp from the gorgeous Hello Sunshine Stamp Set on white cardstock too and fussy cut it.I glued the palm leaves behind my photo and decorated it with the Elizabeth Die Cut Shapes. Aren’t these striped bows and the lemons not adorable!? And then I added the mint mini wide paper clip on the photo too.
I wrote my journaling and printed it out. I glued it on the Elizabeth tag from the Die Cut Shapes and knotted a pinkish cord on it. I added the tag with 3 D dots on the turqouise striped paper square on the right side of my layout. I glued my title on the yellow gingham paper and I love the combination from the black puffy alphabet and the self made Love die cut made with the Elizabeth Stamp and Metal Die Set.
I glued the half mint polka dot tag and a mint and a white palm leaf under my shaker pocket. Then I stamped some of the cute motives and words from the Elizabeth and the Hello Sunshine Stamp Set on my layout. I glued the mint tab with one of those cute rubber charms and the cute Die Cut rose and a self-made die Cut rose in soft pink on the script paper square.
I added the striped bag from the Chipboard pieces on the pinkish square on the left side on the top and the flip flops on the shaker pocket. I splattered black ink across the page and used the FJ date roller stamp to add the date when the picture was taken. To finish off my page I decorated the page with the cute Elizabeth Epoxy Shapes and the Elizabeth Charms and Die Cut Shapes.
