Friday Favorites │ Journaling Cards │ Lydia Cost
I don’t give my journaling cards enough love recently, but they have always been my go to supply when I’m doing daily and weekly memory-keeping. They make it so amazing to document the everyday memories. Unlike a full 12x12 layout, journaling cards make pocket scrapbooking and journaling bits such a breeze.
I’m especially smitten with this month’s selection of journaling cards in the Grace collection. There are gorgeous library card designs, florals, a rainbow, and my favorite blues and greens. I really couldn’t ask for a better selection of journaling cards to memory-keep with.
For this cute little pocket spread in my traveler’s notebook, I worked with five 3x4 journaling cards. The fifth card I fussy-cut to stitch on top of one of my journaling cards. Those fussy-cut florals were perfect for sliding in my photo of my little riding his bike.
This spread was all about our love of getting outdoors and enjoying some type of physical activity. My little and I love to hike, bike, and go for runs. Really I think we just love to enjoy the fresh air and get our legs moving. It really does wonders for our little family.
I stitched on my journaling, typed in some of our favorite activities, and added some more fussy-cut florals to my journaling cards. This month’s kit included everything I needed to put together this little 3x8 pocket page spread.
Thanks so much for stopping by to peek at my little journaling card project. I hope you and your families are doing well, and happy crafting!
