Galactic Fantastic! | Elsie Robinson

Hi all! Today I'm going to talk about my eternal struggle to find the perfect glue for all of my paper-crafting needs... Bare with me; it's a little more exciting than it sounds!

If you're at all aware of my style you know how much I love paper-piecing on my layouts. Because of this I'm always on the hunt for adhesives that are: easy to use, dry quickly and can accurately and cleanly stick down all of those fiddly bits of pretty paper.

I've always found that liquid glue is my best bet at fitting all of those requirements, so I was so excited to give the Tombow Mono Adhesive a whirl on this layout.

The broad and pen tips on the glue are so handy! The 'broad tip' was perfect to quickly and evenly stick down those larger pieces of paper, which means no more peeling the backs off of those pesky double-sided tapes - wahoo!

The 'pen tip' was handy for the smaller details on the rocket, such as adhering that gorgeous pom pom ribbon and the cute acetate heart in the window!

Sticking down all of those beautiful, but small star sequins was so easy with the pen tip. I just put on a couple of YouTube videos and with the smallest dot of glue I could stick the sequins down in no time.

Now, I know this wasn't the most glamorous and exciting subject to talk about, but finding a good adhesive that won't interfere and get in the way of your creative process, is such an essential part of any creative's kit, and makes creating with our beautiful kits even more of a blast! (pun intended!)
