Getting Organized Pocket Pages | Suzanna Stein

Hey there, crafty pals! I’m back to share a 2-page pocket page layout I created with the Henley kit and a few goodies from previous FJ collections!

I had my eye on a few of the journal cards from the Henley collection, and knew I wanted to use them in this layout. I combined them with a few of the patterned papers that I cut down to size and the grid side of one of the journaling cards.
For this layout, I challenged myself to use the frames from the die cut pack. For some reason, frames aren’t something I grab for first, but I always love using them when I do! I layered two on a journaling card, and love the texture it gave the layout!

I also pulled a few embellishments from previous FJ releases, like the Mila wood veneer pieces and Caroline rubber charm, to bring dimension and texture to the rest of the layout. Those items, paired with the staples I added throughout, give the layout interest without being overwhelming!

I knew I wanted to add my title to the gorgeous pink patterned paper, but found it was getting lost without a contrasting color behind it. To make it pop, I added two strips of simple black solid washi tape from my stash!

Once the main components were on the layout, I created small clusters of detail on each card.

For my date, I layered two of the labels from the die cut pack with staples and a sentiment from the stamp set!

Then of course, I finished off my layout with splatters of gold craft mist - because I just can’t resist! I love the way this layout turned out and the fact that I was able to pull in elements from previous kits that described the story perfectly!

I’ll be back with more crafty inspiration later this month! In the mean time, tag your photos with #FelicityJane on Instagram so I can see what you’re creating with these beautiful FJ products!

xo, Suzanna
