Girls Pocket Page | Ulrike Dold

Hi everybody,

Ulli here with you today and I hope you are feeling fine! On Mondays we always show you projects with mixed FJ collections and I have a girls birthday pocket page for you. I mixed the journaling cards and embellishments of many different previous FJ collections and I had so much fun!

For my first page I’ve used the Jenny Journaling Cards and mixed it with Shay Die Cuts and the Puffy Word Stickers, the Bailey Puffy Alphabet in soft pink and the big chipboard number from the Zoey collection. I used a black and white photo in 3x4 Inch and put it in the pocket above on the left side. I framed the smaller colored picture with the cake and added it on a 3x4 inch journaling card in white, Then I decorated it with the wonderful Die Cut Flowers from the Shay collection and a puffy word sticker. I added the date with the super cute Bailey Puffy Alphabet on the big picture. I love the simple look and the pink tint mix with the black and white contrast.

My second page is a double page from the birthday morning. I used the Jenny and Megan Journaling Cards and I love the mix of both. This double page is much more colorful.

I played with bigger and smaller pictures and with black and white photos with colored ones. I always love the mix and it makes a project always diversified. I decorated the pictures with Shay and Jenny Die Cut Shapes, the Jenny Word Stickers and with some Sarah Epoxy Dots and Megan Puffy Stickers. I printed out my journaling and added it on the striped Jenny Journaling card. Then I put one of the wonderful big paper bows from the Megan collection on the outside of my pocket page. I also used the super cute Jenny Stamp Set to stamp some highlights on my Journaling cards.

I filled the big 4x6 pocket with pictures (front and back) and added with the adorable pinkish Bailey Puffy Stickers a title on my photo. Then I filled this pocket with Felicity Jane Jenny and Jaimee sequins and with the adorable Jenny Acrylic Confetti. Such a wonderful mix or what do you think!? Shaker pockets are always a cute idea to make a pocket page more unique and special. And they are perfect for birthdays, too. First I’ve closed the pocket with my Fuse Tool, but it didn’t worked and so I used my sewing machine to sew over the opening of the pocket page.

For the next double page I mixed the floral Brooke Journaling Card with a Jenny Journaling Card. I used two pictures in 4x6 Inch and two in 3x4 inch. I cut a black and white picture smaller and glued it on the floral Brooke Journaling Card in baby blue. Then I decorated it with a mini wide paper clip in black.

I printed a journaling strip and glued it on the left pocket above. Then I finished the journaling on the right picture with the cute Lola Mini Puffy Alphabet Stickers. My daughter was riding her new bicycle in pajamas in the morning and I love this memory. It was so cute! I decorated this part with some enamel dots and with an arrow from the Brooke Die Cut Shapes.

Then I decorated all the pictures of the sweet candy table. I added on the picture on the left the title Candy bar and used therefore the lilac label from the Brooke Die Cut Shapes with the Lola Mini Puffy Alphabet and the Sarah Chipboard Stickers. I also added a Kate Epoxy Heart there. On the right side I added some of the cute Jenny Chipboard Stars and mixed them with the Henley Epoxy Dots in pink, white and mint.

I added a lilac arrow from the Brooke Die Cut Shapes between the journaling card and the picture on the right side and put hidden journaling behind the picture. I used the cute tag from the Brooke Die Cut Shapes with the hearts and added a pink bow with pink ribbon on the top. I printed out my journaling and glued it on the tag. On the back of this pocket I put a 3x4 Journaling card and the tag is between the picture and the journaling card. So the tag is fixed between them.
