Hey FJ friends,
It's Tina here with you today! I hope you're doing well and already having fun with the beautiful Hope collection! And I can't wait to share my new project I created using this kit!
My favorite pattern papers are obviously the floral one and also that wonderful pink watercolor gingham. So I decided to create a background for my TN spread using them, and only after that I was choosing the photo to match.
For the journaling I used one of my favorite FJ products ever – vellum pocket fronts, they are so cute and easy to use! And the journaling card with some roses in the corner looked perfect inside the polka dot pocket. I only added a piece of gray paper from the kit to make the journaling card a little bit longer to look like a tag. After that I punched a small hole at the top and added a piece of coconut cotton ribbon with a stapler.
Next I used two die cut shapes from the Hope kit to create a title for my page and attached them at the bottom of the photo. To add some contrast to the spread I used a bright pink cardstock tab and stamped the date on it.
I just couldn't not use the pretty buttons from the kit as they look so cute! So I simply added a white thread and adhered the buttons here and there using glue dots. And that's all! I hope you'll enjoy playing with this month's kit as much as I did!
Thank you for stopping by! See you next time!
