Grateful Layout | Sheree Forcier

Hello crafty friends!

Today I have another Autumn Kit project to share with you featuring some of the gorgeous die cuts from the die cut pack this month.  I absolutely love the pretty salmon pinks and touches of mustard yellow together!

I really wanted to scrap this photo that I snapped on one of our family outings this year.  I am just so grateful for this beautiful family of mine!  Even though you can’t see their faces…I love that we were all out and about enjoying the day together.

To create the background I cut a large piece of the geometric paper to layer across the top of the white cardstock, added the little black hearts branding strip across the bottom then layered some more white cardstock onto a piece of the salmon solid colored cardstock as the central focus of the page.  Machine stitching helped to add some texture.

After adhering the photo into place I then added a bundle of messy thread and the large floral die cut to the top of the page.  Foam squares were used under the die cut for dimension.  A flair and two silicone charms were also added to the top left of the photo.

The ‘grateful’ die cut was perfect to use as the title, then I added another small floral die cut and two banner pieces.  A striped button was stitched into place and I added another little yellow silicone cross as well.

The journaling strips were adhered using some thin double sided tape and then I played with some stamps!  I used the ‘blessed’ stamp under the journaling and couldn’t resist using the  ‘all the feels’ stamp too.

I have filmed a video below if you would like to watch my process…

I hope you enjoyed seeing how this page came together and that I’ve inspired you to play with your Autumn Kit!  Happy scrapping!
