Hi everyone
Danielle here, sharing my completed mini album for the Gratitude Challenge – yay!
I really enjoyed this challenge and had such a great time going through the helpful prompts and choosing which questions to answer - I found the whole process really inspiring.
I decided the best way to present my mini album to you, would be to remove the book ring and lay out all the individual pages, so you could see both sides as well as the little tags and tabs I added for interest.
I didn’t really change anything on my album cover as I was very happy with how it turned out, but I did tweak a few of the pages I showed you earlier in the month – I couldn’t stop adding those super cute Harper embellishments - haha
I really loved using the gorgeous Harper puffy gold alphas as they just made every thing they touched sparkle, particularly when I added them directly onto photographs.
I used some Felicity Jane packaging to create a shaker pocket for my last page and I punched out some hearts using coordinating Harper papers. The little lady herself, I added to the front of the pocket along with her name spelled out in the alphas – I really love how that turned out.
I created a few interactive elements by adding an arrow I cut out from the dotty paper as well as lots of mini tags punched using the Shay Tag Builder – the one pictured slides into the little pocket created using one of the Harper cardstock frames.
I really hope you enjoy what I’ve created and if you’d like to see more, I have a walk through video up on my YouTube channel that will show you the whole finished album.
