Guest Designer & FREE Cut File | Alex Hunter

Hello everyone! Alex Hunter here and I am so excited to be guest designing for Felicity Jane today, especially because of the collaboration with Tombow! If you didn't know, scrapbooking and lettering are my two passions in life and bringing them together is always such a joy!

This is the first scrapbook page I created and I used the Tombow Dual Brush pens to hand letter  my title, "Lush love". This page is to document my first order from Lush which was very special so it deserved a gorgeous title!

Here you can see a close up of the title. I just wrote it out on some card stock, cut it out, and then I used the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid glue to attach it to my photo.

I absolutely love the Tombow Mono liquid glue! You can put down the tiniest spot and yet it will keep everything in place! The thick end of it is great for adhering large pieces of paper like this teal spot paper! It made it so easy and it was very quick as well.

For my journaling, I created a pocket behind my scrapbook page and inserted a tag with journaling and the "a reason to smile" stamp as well as a decorative tag.

Here, you can also see the pom pom ribbon I included. While I did use most of it, it was definitely worth it because it's gorgeous on this page! I first adhered it to a small piece of paper with the Tombow Mono liquid glue and then I slid that under the teal dot paper. Super easy and very effective!

Here is the second scrapbook page I created with the Felicity kit & the coordinating cut file that I designed! I think it turned out beautifully & I hope you like it as much as I do! [ be sure to download it FREE at the bottom of this post! ]

I tried to keep all of the colors tied into each other, even with the black. I love the "so happy" circle stamp and I knew I had to use it for documenting this photo which was an amazing day.

I also really wanted to add the star stamp in black but knew it would be too busy with the whole stamp showing so I lifted some of the paper and stamped the image where it would be slightly covered.

Remember how I was talking bout how great the Mono liquid glue was? Well, the best purpose I've found for it so far are these tiny sequin stars! I don't have any other glue with a small enough nozzle to be able to made a dot of glue small enough for these stars!

The Tombow Mono tape runner is also really great for this kind of page where theres lots of long layers of paper. I don't like to use glue for things like this since it could cause warping, so the tape runner was perfect!

Overall, I loved everything! The pens are by far my favorite though. I had a couple before this but now I have even more that I can practice with! Thank you to Felicity Jane and Tombow for letting me participate in this amazing collaboration!
