Hello Felicity Jane friends and lovers!
Kerstin again with new inspiration for you with the great Coco Kit and Coco 6 x 8 Album. I chose the window pane album and thought this beautiful album I want to hold in my hands all year AND document my journey in the New Year!
First I made myself a bookmark using the Coco Star Sequin Mix, Trim Gift Bag and a Miniwide Paper Clip in Dusty Rose. From the Designer Cardstock Dividers I chose the white narrow strip, sewed a piece of Vellum on it and before I sewed the upper part I filled in the Coco Star Sequin Mix and sewed it shut afterwards. A few little things for decoration and my bookmark was ready.
I like to enjoy opening my album and have chosen the black ribbon that each kit is lovingly wrapped with and placed it around my pages.
For my opening page it had to be the 6 x 12 paper with the Paint Swatches.
The words SPARKLE, MAGIC and WISHES are perfect for a new year.
On top I layered acetate with the Jumbo Die Cut Alphabet & Numbers as well as the Puffy Alphabet Stickers to adhere the number/word 2021/twentyone. I considered still stitching over the word twentyone, but wasn't sure. I also glued on four Coco Chipboard Stars.
I love pink and for this page it just had to be the Coco Snow Paper. I made a page to fold out. First I cut the Snow Paper to 8 x 3.5 inches then made small cuts to be able to insert the strips with the attached circles that I cut out of the FJ solid paper with my scissors. On the small circles I die cut letters from solid cardstock using the Reagan Alphabet Metal Die Set and glued them on. For the back, I stapled the large flower from the die cut shapes. The miniwide paper clip holds the words about me. It is not easy to describe yourself with character attributes.
The next page is a "Why" page. I love flowers, so it had to be the FJ exclusive Flowers Paper. Since it wasn't quite enough, I took one of the great Acetate Pop-Ins and adhered my paper (so I can use narrower paper). I punched out three circles in 2.5 inches from the 3 x 8 inch Window Pane Cards and glued numbers 1-3 from Coco Chipboard Numbers onto them. I glued the word "WHY?" from the Puffy Alphabet Stickers to a piece of vellum. I attached the circles with the numbers, in which I punched a small hole, to the top center of the page with embroidery floss. From the Essential Cotton Ribbon no.2 (unfortunately I do not know the color) I tied a bow and glued with double-sided tape on the attached floss.
My reasons "WHY?" I will fill in between the Christmas days. "Why?" ... means why I make this album - my thoughts about it.
The page I'm showing you now is supposed to be my motivation page. Because uncertainty, dissatisfaction accompanies us again and again! But if I then look at these pages ... Oh, I'll just show it to you now!
I have printed out the text on Vellum, cut into heart shape then punched and glued three golden Chipboard Stars.
This page I open when I struggle!
I chose the FJ exclusive Bow Paper for this (did I mention I love flowers and bows...) and cut to 6.5 x 8.5 inches in size. In the upper right corner I stuck the chipboard die cut with double sided tape.
At the bottom center, also with double-sided tape, I slid a strip of the FJ exclusive Flowers paper - behind it 2 small tags (one cut from a 3 x 4 Journaling Card and another from the 3 x 8 Plaid Card and embellished with trims from the Gift Bag from the Coco Kit).
The words "you are" are from the Essentials JUMBO Die Cut Alphabets & Numbers. I have glued the letters with 3 D Dots.
But this page is not all - it is to open!
For these two pages I used the Plaid paper from the Bonus Papers of the Coco Kit - in the size 6.5 x 8.5 inches. To make the pages easy to open, I glued small magnets in the upper right and lower left, respectively, opposite each other on the other side. I painted the letters from the Jumbo Die Cut Alphabet & Numbers with acylic paint in burgundy and then glued them on solid paper in the size 2 x 3 1/4 inches, punched holes, connected them with yarn and decorated with Coco Chipboard Stars. To be able to attach the word garland, I punched in eyelets with a crop a dile.
I still considered in the lower part of the page to attach something, but did not have the right idea. Maybe you have an idea for me?
When I look at this page I want to encourage myself not to give up, to keep going ... because I am awesome - unique!
I'm really looking forward to filling this album now … with PL pages, with small layouts, thoughts and more!
I can scrapbook every great monthly Felicity Jane Collection and end up with a beautiful filled album about me, with my memories and have every FJ Collection in an album!
I really hope I could inspire you to do something throughout the year with this wonderful 6 x 8 Album!
I wish you a great New Year with beautiful moments!
Kerstin xx
