I feel so honored the lovely ladies here chose me to guest design with the absolutely stunning Denise kit this month! I'm completely obsessed guys, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to knock it down to scraps before the month is even up.
This month it seems that I've been giving my lovely friend, Suzanne, an immense amount of love in my scrapping. There's just something about a best friend that makes you feel alive and ok to be human. I loved that this month's kit included lots of perfect sentiments that describe her perfectly! I layered them up on the left-hand side of my layout for a full effect. I chose to add some extra dimension to the amazing chipboard speech bubbles by stitching on my title. You'd be surprised at what your sewing machine is capable of!
I also decided that I wanted the gorgeous floral sheet in this month's kit to do most of the talking. How gorgeous are those amazing blush and pink florals against that mustard background?! I think I could fussy-cut those beautiful flowers for days, because I think they belong on everything.
After adding my stitching to my title, I decided to finish off my layout by stapling on these perfect little bows in the ephemera pack. Aren't they just the cutest?! A few paint splatters and my typed journaling later, and that was another easy-peasy layout!
