Hi FJ friends!
Ulli here with you with my latest scrapbooking page in the format 8.5 x 11 with the gorgeous new Kolly Birthday collection of Felicity Jane! Are you also so in love with the color scheme of this collection!? I want to show you my layout and will describe to you then how it came together.
First I cut my FJ Essentials White Cardstock to 8.5 x 11 inches. Then I’ve used the "Dots & Sparkles“ paper of the 12x12 packer pack from the Kolly collection and cut four small, inclined paper strips and glued them around all borders of my white cardstock. I always cut the overlapping paper on the paper border. I added a miniwide paper clip in dusty rose and added my picture on my layout. I used the Kolly Number Balloon Die Cut "1" and knotted a thin ribbon in rosé on it. I then threaded on it the cute pinkish and copper sparkles shapes of the Kolly Die Cuts and the Mini Tulle Pom Poms in pink and white of the Margot collection. I used 3D dots to add the number balloon on the right side beside my picture and used glue dots to also fix the die cuts and tulle pom poms on my page.
I added the Kolly Die Cut Tag on the right side under my picture and stamped "It's your day" and "B | Birthday" from the Kolly Stamp Set over and under my picture. I’ve added the word "Happy" with the Kolly Puffy Alphabet on the bottom of my picture to get the title "Happy Birthday". I glued the wonderful "Celebrate" die cut with 3D dots over my picture too. I love the copper foil accent on the Kolly Die Cut Shapes! Then I’ve added the small dot stamp here and there on my page. I used a needle and made groups of four holes into the paper and stitched 10 crosses with pink yarn on my layout. I always knotted the yarn on the back of my page.
I cut the big flower die cut from the Kolly collection into two pieces and added one on the top and one on the bottom of my layout. Then I’ve added one of the amazing Felt Daisies of the Kolly collection on the left side of my picture. I also added the date with the FJ Roller Date stamp on this side.
I wrote my journaling by hand under my picture and the title and splattered black ink across my page. At the end I’ve added some of the cute Kolly Sequin Floral Sequin Mix and the Reese Chipboard Heart Stickers in pink here and there.
