Hello FJ fans,
Anne here for you today and I want to share a new layout with you. The best of coming home after a vacation for me is going through all the photos and remember the lovely moments we had together. So I had to use a fresh photo for my page. I concentrated on the color combo pink/blue. I love the pastel versions of both of them so much. It screams summer and warmth and were perfect for my photo.
I layered the photo on some paper, printed vellum (an older journaling I couldn't use) and tissue. For a little accent I ripped one side of the picture. I fussy cut some of the beautiful pink florals and places them on my page. With one I covered some plants on the photo that didn't fit into my creation.
With one of the die cuts, some alpha stickers and a layered die cutted word I created my title. I cut out the word 'lovely' twice - one bold and one filigran. I also embossed the filigran word with some little dots. I layered them on each other.
I wanted a focus point on the top of the photo. I used one label die cut with some of the adorable puffy hearts and punched out an additional tab. I used a stamp phrase for it.
At the right edge I glued down another fussy cut flower and put a speech bubble on top of it. Just add some black splatters, puffy hearts and a date stamp and everything is done.
What is your favorite summer color combo? I'd love to see your projects with #felicityjane.
Have a great week!
