Hello there again, lovely friends! Today I wanted to share a little package that I put together to send a gal friend. I love creating happy mail, because I know how special it is to get a little something in the mail from someone you love. I especially love using my pretty papers for extra special packaging that the recipient will love.
For this happy mail, I decided on a large kraft scalloped envelope. I started out by deciding that I would stitch on a pretty paper pocket and then tie it off at the top. The pocket would be the perfect place to house a card that matched perfectly.
After cutting my paper at an angle, I could then run it through my sewing machine to create the perfect card pocket. It’s also large enough that I could put some other flat items in it, that might not fit inside.
For the inside of the envelope, I chose to create a bunch of pretty envelopes that could hold little trinkets and candies for my friend. I chose some of my favorite papers from the Katherine collection, and then used them to create envelopes in various sizes and styles. One envelope was perfect for keeping a bunch of pretty ephemera safe, and another made the perfect place to send her some gorgeous FJ charms.
I even included an envelope that I could include some gorgeous pieces of vintage jewelry and pieces that could either be worn or used in her crafting. The possibilities are endless!
All that was left was to stuff that pretty scalloped envelope with tons of goodies and pretty embellished envelopes. This is such a simple way to show someone else you’re thinking about them, and FJ goodies make it such a breeze. The coordinating colors and bright, happy colors are sure to lighten anyone’s mailbox!
