Hi everyone! I'm so happy to be back on the blog today to share my first project using the delightful Willow Kit. While everything in this kit is gorgeous, for this layout I decided to pick out all the little bits and pieces that were yellow, the pretty coral shades or black & white.
When I had all the pretty floral die cut pieces together in front of me these photos immediately came to mind. On this particular day a thoughtful neighbour knocked on our front door with some delicious cupcakes and the one Madison chose had a white flower on top which just happened to match the one in her hair! She thought it was so fun and of course we had to take some photos...it was so pretty!
I started my page by layering the black dot and yellow scallop patterned papers across the top along with the scallop edge of the solid color paper, then added some machine stitching.
After deciding on my photo placement, I tucked a tag under the side of the top photo and added two die cuts above the photo.
I then had fun layering the pretty floral die cuts to the left of the bottom photo and used some foam dots to add some dimension. A scallop die cut was adhered underneath my photo as well.
I always love the stamp sets that come with the Felicity Jane Kits and this month's set is so awesome! I used the 'happy' die cut and the 'happy day' stamp as part of my journaling. The arrow stamp went under the journaling and the 'living & loving' stamp next to the floral cluster. The tiny triple dot stamp was added in a few spots around the page too.
I really love how crisp and clean the images stamped out!
A black and white die cut heart and date stamp completed the layout. I've created a process video for this page too...
The Willow Kit is so fun to create with! I'll be back again soon with another project to share.
