I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love the fun, bright colours in the Alexis kit. They make me long for springtime and sunshine even more! For this page I decided to focus on the pink and turquoise in the kit and combined them with some black and white papers and elements, because black and white is always a good choice, right?
For my background I used the stencil that is included in the kit (maybe my favourite thing in the whole kit!) with some modeling paste and a pink distress oxide ink for the watercolour effect. Then I layered some paper strips on the left side of my page and clustered my two photos (of my super adorable dog - although I might be biased ;) ) on top of them.
For the layers behind my photos I used a mix of patterned papers from the kit, a journaling card and a piece of the tissue paper the kits are always wrapped in (I save it every time!).
The „hello“ puffy sticker was perfect for my title, especially because my doggo’s nose fit in the space between the "H" and the "L" just right. I also tucked in the number 1 from the acetate numbers pack on the right side of the lower photos, because she just is my number 1. ;)
The pieces I added in from past kits were the pink chipboard heart from the Reagan kit, and the small puffy heart stickers and the turquoise acetate tab from the Zoey kit. If you have any pieces left from the Zoey kit, mix them in with your Alexis kit - they match perfectly!
I hope you feel inspired to get to work with your Alexis kits! :) Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
