Hello Miss Jones Layout | Victoria Calvin

Hello everyone! This is Victoria Calvin and I am so excited to share with you my first layout as a new member of the Felicity Jane Creative Media Team. This layout features some of the gorgeous elements from the Zoey Kit.

Recently, I acquired two very old photos of me, just 15 years old, on my way to a show choir competition in Enid, Oklahoma. Looking back, I remember being the biggest “ham” ever, always making people laugh and commandeering the spotlight any chance I got! I love scrapbooking older photos and documenting snapshots of my life. Plus, it’s just fun taking a stroll down memory lane.

To create this layout, I started with a 12x12 piece of textured card stock and a piece of pattern paper from the kit that I trimmed down to 6x12.

Positioned in the middle of the layout are two 3x3 photos, layered on top of a Zoey die cut, an acetate card, a die cut label, and a journaling card.  Using the Zoey chipboard numbers, I positioned the number “15” to the right of the photos to represent my age at the time that these photos were taken.

To add a bit of texture, I tied a bow around the number “1” using sewing floss from the Zoey Tiny Tags pack. On the left side of the photos, I added an acetate callout label (“Good Times”) and a cute little acetate banner for a bit of fun and whimsy! To accent the page, I used the tiny repeating heart stamp from the Zoey Stamp set to the top right of the photo cluster and at the bottom of the layout under the title.

Underneath the photo cluster, I used an acetate tab and a scalloped die cut. The tab also serves as an anchor for the number “15”.

I positioned an acetate callout die cut (“Hello”) to the bottom of the layout, two sequin die cut clusters (top and bottom of the layout) and a die cut label. The date was created using number stamps from the “Hooray” stamp set and black StazOn Ink. Lastly, I created the title using the Zoey Puffy Alphas.
