Hi everyone!

In keeping with our Summer focus this week here on the Inspiration Page, I’ve created a layout featuring one of my favourite photos from our last summer holiday to share with you.

I searched though my Felicity Jane stash and found the gorgeous watercolor paper from last year’s Summer Kit for my background and decided on a vertical design for the layout.  I created a paper sun using some yellow grid London Kit paper and a circle punch.  Once it was positioned correctly I pierced some holes and added hand stitching.

Behind the photo I used some scrunched vellum from my stash and the waves journaling card from the Summer Kit, then added some machine stitching.

For the title I used a combination of the Alexis Puffy Titles, the Aqua Essentials Puffy Alphabet and the "Adventure" stamp from the Willow stamp set.  The arrow stamp underneath was also from the Willow stamp set.

The journaling strips were adhered into place before I added machine stitching along each strip.  I added another phrase from the Willow stamp set and a tiny yellow puffy heart at the bottom.

To finish off, I used a white tag from my stash to add the date and dangled it from the ‘Beach’ Summer chipboard sticker at the left side of the photo.
