Hey everyone!
Tiffany here with a pocket page spread in my Note to Self binder. I primarily used the Katherine Kit for this spread, but there are a few pieces from other kits mixed in as well. I wanted the spread to scream summer and the colors of the Katherine Kit did just the trick! This spread documents a few random happenings in my world this summer, but it's primarily a spread about my friends and how we've been staying connected in these crazy times.
These pockets had a mixture of vertical, horizontal and square pockets, so I really got to mix it up a bit. On the left side, I used two of the journaling cards from the kit, embellishing that "Hello" card with a "Summer" chipboard piece from the Amanda Kit. In the square pockets next to that, I added two photos of internet things my friends and I have gotten into, along with a little card for some journaling. For the "my current faves" card, I listed a few songs I've been currently loving. I embellished the outside of the pocket page with that cassette tape die cut from the Lola Kit, along with pieces from the Katherine Kit die cuts and the Lola mini puffy alpha stickers.
For the right side pocket page, I documented a little picnic my friends and I had recently in the park. I had a few too many photos for this one, so I ended up creating a little flip up card in one of the pockets where I included the extra large photo and some hidden journaling. I love the interactive element this adds to my pockets! I used up the rest of the Katherine die cuts on these pockets, adding a few of the epoxy hearts from the Bailey and Lindsey Kits to embellish the pockets.
For the little flip up card, I decided to add my title "picnic in the park." I embellished it with some die cuts and a chipboard piece from the Lola kit. I also added one of the tags from the Grace Kit, with the date stamped on it, to make it easier to lift the little flap. I left the inside of the card quite simple, using the pattern papers from the kit to add a bit of color.
This spread came together rather quickly and I love that I was able to add an interactive element to the page. Definitely check out the process video below to get a better idea at how this entire spread came together!
