Hello everybody!
When I picked up the June kit and saw the great "Plaid" paper I immediately knew I would make a layout with it! But see for yourself!
Actually I usually choose my photos after my layout is done. I wanted to do it differently this time and have my photo ready first and then let it inspire what I want to do. I picked out the papers and embellishments and got started.
First I took Essentials White Cardstock and sprinkled dots on it - I say dots always go! Then I tore off a 5 inch wide strip of June Plaid paper. I used my cutting knife to carefully cut out the white squares and then adhered the "grid" to my speckled cardstock with 3D dimensionals. 
Next I cut a strip 4.5 x 3.5 inches from the awesome June "Stripes" paper and adhered it about centered on the June "Plaid" paper also with 3D dimensionals. I adhered one of the cute June Designer Tags across the June "Stripes" paper with double sided tape. Then I had to use the adorable June "Floral" paper and adhered a 2 1/2 x 2 3/4 inch strip also with double sided tape (offset in height). On top of that went another small 2 x 2 1/4 inch strip of the June "Dash Grid" paper.
Then comes the always most beautiful and relaxing part of a layout for me - decorating! I cut out a few little flowers from the June "Floral" paper and spread them around my paper strips with 3D dimensionals. 
I added three little black and white polka dotted hearts from the Millie Puffy Stickers to the florals. I spread the little black dots from the June Puffy Shapes (I don't have to say now that I love dots...!) on my layout. 
For the photo, I printed a photo strip with 2 photos of my daughter on a hiking trip. I really like to do journaling that is handwritten. I added a pretty little pink bow from the Tori Puffy Stickers next to my photo.
For the title I chose the wonderful saying "well hello Sunshine!" from the wonderful June Die Cut Shapes!
